| Authors, Now is the time and the place to get FREE advertising on my page! You may ever win the chance to have a book published!*** I will be holding a monthly contest called '5 Sexy Scenes'. Here is what you do. 1. Send me a three page or less .doc of a sexy scene you have personally written. It can be from a current or backlist book, an upcoming title, a short-short story, an 'added' scene to a book you've already published or an original scene. You may write a 3-4 line set-up for the scene. I will pick the top five sexiest scenes of the month and every entrant to my monthly website contest will receive my 5 Sexy Scenes bonus newsletter. 2. When you enter, I list your name and website information on my site where visitors to my page can follow your link and discover more about you. (FREE!) 3. You advertise MY page on your blog, yahoo group or newsletter. Send me the link for this once you do it to confirm your entry. This will work to everyone’s benefit as authors will have the advantage of utilizing twenty-nine other author's reader lists to get their names out there! Romance breeds romance! 4. I will limit my contest to the first thirty published authors who enter, unless otherwise notified. Authors MUST HAVE a relevant blog, website or social networking page such as Facebook/Myspace/Book Place, etc. ONE ENTRY PER MONTH PER AUTHOR, please. What does this means for you? 1. More people seeing your name, your style, your work. 2. *Free* co-operative advertising, the potential for hundreds of new readers and sales. 3. If you are chosen for the newsletter, it can be great advertising for an upcoming book launch or to generate new interest in your backlist titles. 4. As a professional editor and book reviewer, I can critique the piece if you so chose, not necessary, of course, just an option. 5. It's *totally free* and, if you already have a scene written, will take you five minutes of time to reach a potentially unlimited number of readers! What it means for me! More traffic to my website, of course, and more potential sales for me! Also, as a reader I love my authors, love freebies, stories and contests, so this will be FUN for me! What am I looking for? To me, sexy isn't necessarily the act of intercourse. It's a feeling, an emotion provoked by a skilled storyteller, something that gives me a tiny, or not so tiny, rush and makes my eyes widen, my breath catch, my heart race and my husband happy once the kids are tucked away for the night. :-) It can be an exchange of glances that leads to a completely non-physical, wordless but charged encounter; a first discovery; a familiarity that comes with years of experience thrilling each other’s bodies. It can be a paranormal attraction; a sci-fi high-flying sexual adventure; maybe a dirty, gritty, sweaty marathon sex session that starts with the touch of lips on leather. In other words, as long as it's sexy, I'll read it and rate it. I am looking for a first class representation of your work. I don't want to edit it, I want to read it and be swept up by it. I want to want MORE and want to race to my computer to look up your webpage so I can order your stories. I'm looking for authors willing to play by the rules so everyone can attain maximum benefit from their efforts. I'm looking for good authors, whether you've published one short story or twenty-five Trade Paperbacks, I don't care. Your words will win, not your resume. Come on, what have you got to lose?
